Good afternoon 👋

Suffering from allergies while out and about? Sunglasses can help protect you; a fair amount of the pollen that bothers you arrives not just via your respiratory tract, but also via your eyes.

Q&A by Telezen MD

Can We Reduce GLP-1 Side Effects?

We’ve talked about a lot of GLP-1 things, and not much about the side effects, aside from that they exist and are not pleasant.

It’s a broad topic, but one thing that you might consider is to reduce consumption of fried food and refined carbs; their general metabolic woes aside, fried foods and ultra-refined carbs can exacerbate nausea and other side effects (it has to do with GLP-1 receptor agonists slowing gastric emptying), so it really is best to skip them.

The good news is that GLP-1 drugs will help overcome any cravings for such foods in any case.

Now it’s your turn!

Our partner Telezen MD have offered to answer (for free!) any questions you might have about GLP-1 drugs or weight loss in general.

It’s not often that medical professionals answer questions for free, so let’s make the most of it!

Should You Prioritize Walking Farther Or Walking More Often?

Science has an answer:

Healthy Tips To Live By

Find a way to “get around decision fatigue”. Making decisions all the time is not only wearying, but also, it reduces the quality of your decisions, as your brain looks for ways to lighten the cognitive load, and thus will try to take the path of least resistance.

When it comes to one’s diet, it’s not just one choice, i.e. “healthy” vs “unhealthy”, but rather many; e.g. what kind of “healthy”, where will we get it, what varieties will we choose, what will we cook, how will we cook it, how many meals per day will we have, and so on and so forth.

Our partner Alygn make that quite simple with their free personalization quiz, which makes things a lot easier to do going forwards:
