The Real Way To Eat More Veg If You Don't Like Veg

Plus: the biomechanics you'll need to actually shrink your waist and train your core

Good afternoon đź‘‹

❝If you don’t like the road you’re walking, pave a new one❞
~ Dolly Parton, on doing just fine at 79

In today’s email we cover vegetables if you don’t like them, the biomechanics of a narrow waist, and the original “Bosh!” cookbook.

Hearing aids typically cost thousands, but they don’t cost anywhere near that to make, which is why today’s sponsor Oricle Hearing is able to sell state-of-the-art hearing aids for just $99, no doctor visits needed. Check them out!

This video is unusually good, because it very clearly shows (and explains) some important biomechanical differences that a lot of people miss (resulting, for them, in making things worse rather than better):

One-Minute Book Review

BOSH! Simple Recipes, Amazing Food, All Plants – by Henry Firth & Ian Theasby

Astonishingly, we’ve not reviewed this one before, so here we go. It’s certainly a famous one, and it’s got a lot of people into plant-based cooking. So, how justified is its reputation?

If you’re not used to cooking with only plants, then this will get you started with a broad palette and plenty of variety with plenty of taste.

In terms of complexity, the recipes are comparable to those found in our website’s recipes section, and can be described as very mid-range complexity. Indeed, looking on Amazon, we see some customers complaining that they are far too simple, and others complaining that they are far too complex.

With regard to how healthy the recipes are, well, they’re entirely plant-based which is good, but they’re not optimized for health the way ours are, so you will sometimes find more flour, sugar, etc than you’d see in ours.

Bottom line: if you’re already a well-seasoned plant-based cook, then this book will probably still give you some good ideas. And if you’re not? Well, this will set you up in good order!
